2025 has been a defining year for Entrinsik—one of growth, innovation, and, for me personally, reflection.
Before I get into the product releases and customer wins, I want to acknowledge something that shaped this year in ways that go beyond business metrics. We lost my father, Doug Leupen, Entrinsik's founder. For those who knew him, you know he built this company on relationships and on doing right by people. He believed that if you took care of your customers and your team, the rest would follow. That philosophy is central to how we operate. It's why customers who started with us over twenty years ago are still here. As we move into 2026, I'm more committed than ever to honoring that foundation while pushing us forward.
With that context, let me share what made 2025 such a strong year.
Building the Future of Enterprise BI and AI
Informer
Informer continues to mature as the enterprise BI and AI platform that institutions and organizations depend on for governed reporting, analytics, and insight they can actually trust. We shipped two major releases this year:
Informer 2025.1 introduced AI licensing for all users with flexible, usage-based pricing—putting AI capabilities in more hands without the procurement headache. We launched Magic Visual, which lets users describe what they want to see in plain language and get a chart back instantly. We expanded our Libraries integrations to include OneDrive, Box, and GitHub. Informer Copilot got smarter at generating SQL and JavaScript. And we added AI Help so users can just ask questions instead of digging through documentation.
Informer 2025.2 brought a modernized server architecture built on Node.js, Hapi, and Highcharts—resulting in noticeably better performance and scalability. We added Google Drive to Libraries, introduced Job Action uploads to Google Drive and OneDrive, and delivered Template Input Presets that give administrators more control over self-service reporting.
Beyond product, we hit some milestones worth noting. We achieved Ellucian SaaS Verified status for both Informer and Enrole—validation that our cloud-to-cloud connectivity with Colleague, Banner, and Insights works the way institutions need it to. We were named a finalist for the NC Tech Awards in the AI, ML + Data Innovation category. And we promoted Madhavi Chandra to Chief Product &Strategy Officer, expanding her leadership across product vision and strategic initiatives for both platforms.
Enrole: A Strong Year of Growth
Enrole continued to establish itself as the purpose-built solution for Continuing Education and Workforce Development—particularly important as institutions prepare for Workforce Pell changes coming in 2026.
Enrole 8.4 delivered to our first cohort in November, was one of our most substantial releases in years: enhanced UDF management, multi-factor authentication for Enrole Home, conditional logic for registration workflows, Colleague Connector improvements, and over 120 bug fixes and enhancements. This release reflects months of close collaboration between our product, engineering, and customer success teams.
AI That Actually Works in the Real World
2025 was the year AI moved from "interesting experiment" to "how do we actually use this?" For our customers, that meant governed AI—AI that respects security and compliance, fits into real workflows, and stays grounded in a solid BI foundation.
We expanded Informer AI Assistants across students, instructors, administrative teams, and insurance and title operations. We built role-based assistants that support natural language workflows for everything from policy analytics to campus operations. California Lutheran University launched "Ask Gumby," demonstrating what a modern AI strategy looks like when it's backed by data and aligned with governance and institutional outcomes from the start. This work was awarded the Tambellini Future Campus Award for Learning Outcomes and Experience, recognizing the solution as a model for Higher Education.
Customer Success Stories
Some of the strongest customer stories in our history came out of this year:
- Wake Tech transformed their Continuing Education program—fee-waived registration, compliance, and reporting at scale with Enrole.
- California Lutheran University improved student access and reduced administrative friction with Ask Gumby.
- Tulsa Tech demonstrated the strategic value of running Informer and Enrole together.
- Seubert & Associates accelerated decision-making with faster, clearer visibility into their AMS360 data.
Across higher ed, insurance, and title, the pattern was consistent: governed data plus modern reporting plus thoughtful AI equals measurable improvements in outcomes.
Events, Community, and Partnerships
We had one of our strongest years of industry presence—EDUCAUSE, Ellucian Live, NC IIPS, Accelerate, Convergence, NS3, Spark, RQUG—the calendar was full. More importantly, these weren't just booth appearances. They were real conversations that shaped our roadmap and deepened relationships.
Entrinsicon 2025 returned to Raleigh, and it reminded us why we do this. There's something about getting our users, partners, and team in the same room that no webinar can replicate. Planning for the next one is already underway.
Partnerships strengthened across the board: Ellucian (SaaS Verified status and ongoing cloud data strategy collaboration), Vertafore (expanded analytics across AMS360 and Sagitta), Softdocs (aligned on campus operations modernization), and Ferrilli (our new Enrole Onboarding Partner who will help us scale our implementations).
Our Givebacks initiative replaced conference swag with something that matters. Instead of handing out tchotchkes, we donated meals through Feeding America—50 meals per badge scan or business card, 100 meals per scheduled meeting. By year end, we'd contributed approximately 28,500 meals to families facing food insecurity.
Our team also volunteered together at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina—executives, developers, sales, marketing, customer success—everyone. We ran a Toys for Tots drive during the holidays. These aren't PR initiatives. They reflect who we are and what my father built into this company's DNA.
What 2025 Taught Us
A few things became clearer this year:
Enterprise BI is the foundation for trustworthy AI. Customers don't want AI that hallucinates or operates outside their governance model. They want AI that enhances decision-making while respecting security and compliance.
People expect simpler ways to work with data. Magic Visual, expanded Libraries, the modernized architecture—all of it points toward intuitive workflows overtechnical complexity.
Informer GO will change how users engage with information. The demand for instant, governed insight across every role is unmistakable.
Workforce Pell is coming, and institutions are preparing now. Enrole's purpose-built platform is essential for CE and Workforce Development programs positioning for 2026.
Partnerships matter more as ecosystems move to the cloud. Integrated workflows and cloud platforms make strong partnerships a multiplier for customer success.
Giving back strengthens culture. Our collective efforts this year reinforced that purpose and profit aren't mutually exclusive.
What's Ahead for 2026
Our priorities for the year ahead:
- Advance Informer as a leading enterprise BI and AI platform, with Informer GO shaping the next generation of governed, on-demand insight
- Support institutions preparing for Workforce Pell and expanding CE and Workforce Development programs
- Strengthen our presence across higher education, agency insurance, and title with industry-focused solutions
- Deepen partnerships that support critical areas of our customers' ecosystems
- Reduce complexity, strengthen governance, and make it easier for users to take action with confidence
Informer GO: The Big One
Informer GO will be one of the most significant releases in Entrinsik's history.
This isn't just a mobile app. It's a companion experience designed for every role across every vertical we serve—executives, analysts, instructors, students, insurance producers, account managers, title officers, CE administrators, operations staff. It delivers instant, natural language answers to questions that used to require building a report or dashboard. It works on mobile, desktop, or embedded in the systems people already use. It connects structured data, unstructured documents, and partner system content. And it maintains the securityand governance that Informer is known for.
Informer GO brings intelligence to users instead of making users go find it. That's a fundamental shift in how our customers will work with data in 2026 and beyond.

Thank you to our team, our customers, and our partners for making 2025 exceptional. I'm looking forward to what we build together next year.
